Last April 14, we set foot on the white powdery sand of one of the world-famous islands, Boracay. It’s a nice and beautiful place! Acutally, it was just a weekend trip with my family and I surely had a great time.

Look! I’m so happy. This was when we were about to head to the island.

February 10-12 was the college fair of Canossa College. It was the last college fair we had as high school students. I can’t picture out things as the time passes by. (Don’t mind this peculiar feeling of mine lol) Anyway, the college fair was awesome and fun! I first thought it was going to be boring and such but no, it did not go the way I expected it to be which is a good thing. (I guess LOL kidding) Btw, our principal gave me a task to design the logo for this year’s college fair. It feels great to see your work in every promotional tarpaulin of the college fair. :-)

First Day

My thesis-mates and I spent the first day doing our experiment. It was a productive morning. Also, that means we did not attend the motorcade. Yay! Afterwards, we went to school and hurriedly did our duty for the Horror booth. Having to scare people was fun and tiring at the same time because we were all shouting. LOL It was a momentous experience because I did it with my beloved classmates :-)

Second Day

It started a bit boring but changed my mood when my friends decided to play the booths there and ride the caterpillar. I had fun! Later that afternoon was the Youth Jam where bands showcased their talents. Some of my classmates played. The Youth Jam was fun and I enjoyed it! Also, I got to wear my first Doc Martens! (Will post a Lookbook post soon) :-)

Third Day

This was the last day of the college fair which was exciting. We had mass first then the field demonstration… Our last field demonstration. Good thing, I remembered the steps. We danced the cha-cha incorporated by modern music and style. It’s a good feeling to dance with everyone you love, for me my classmates. Then in the afternoon, there was an acrobatics show. It was an awesome show! And we enjoyed rest of the day!!!

Read first the 1st day of Thailand trip (part 1)! :-)

We went to the Siam Ocean World. That was actually my second time to experience/see something like that. The first was one was in Manila Ocean Park when it was still new. Hence, Siam Ocean World is better than the Manila Ocean Park. It’s the largest marine park in Southeast Asia! And it’s really beautiful!

Siam Ocean World … Park, a vast aquarium. With over 10,000 square meters of space, which is equivalent to 2 standard size football field and capacity to 4 million liters of water, or three Olympic swimming pools. (Source)

Then we went shopping! Woohoo! There are actually some brands in Thailand that are not available in the Philippines.

I actually got there this thing that is quite memorable…. my first pair of Doc Martens! First and Forever!! It’s a Navi Blue Original 1460 with a worn texture.

It feels so comfortable to wear and looks good! It actually suits me :) Can’t wait to pull this off! So excited.

Then we had dinner! And the food court in Siam Paragon was jam-packed! The place is so big and there are also many foods available.

Then we headed back to the hotel.

I learned 2 Thailand words.. Thank you in thai. There are actually two versions: khob-kun-Ka, if the person is a woman and khob-kun-Krub, if the person is a man. And the other word is Hello, it also has 2 versions: Sa-wat-dee kraup (male speaker) and Sa-wat-dee Kah (female speaker) Our first day in Thailand was so fun!! :-)

Me and my family including one of my cousins had a trip to Thailand for 3 days. Our departure from the Philippines was set January 20, 9:PM. I can’t believe that we were delayednot once but twice! Good thing, I bought the third book of the series, Percy Jackson & the Olympians, The Titan’s Curse at the airport and was reading it while we were waiting for boarding. It was around 11:30AM when we boarded the aircraft.

Finally! I was able to update my blog that I “”left”” last year for some reasons I can’t even remember. But now, I was able to have some time to write a post here. It’s quite cliché to say that “I will now update my blog regularly” which usually ends up the opposite of it LOL But I will try to. Oh, I mean… I will. :-) One of the things that ALWAYS keep me occupied are school works. 

Speaking of school, I took College admission tests last year. One of the tests I took was the DLSUCAT. And I’m happy to share to you guys that I passed DLSUCAT. :-)

Anyway, my mom just got home from China and she bought me some stuff. I can’t describe how happy I am. :-) Below are the things she bought for me:

October 26. That night, my mom came to me and said that they have a gift for me for my coming birhtday (October 30). It made me excited and curious on their present. Afterwards, she gave me this purple striped box, the gift she was talking about. I was not willing to open it but they said I should open it already, so I did! 

I was surprised to see it’s a brand new camera!! ☺ I was not hoping for a new camera because I already have my D90, my Canon IXUS 130 and my Lomo cam. I am already satisfied with those cameras but I couldn’t say no to it. When I opened it, I was completely astonished because it’s the PENTAX-Q! The smallest interchangeable lens camera on the market!! ☺

I tried it immediately and it’s unexpectedly good and somehow better than my D90 (LOL just kidding, D90 is better) 

The Pentax-Q ia toy-like camera because of its size and weight. It’s really light and compact with just 235g (includess battery and the kit lens). Really small size that’s easy to take anywhere. It has different scene modes, digital filters and smart effects also. 

The auto-focus speed is quite crappy and not so perfect but it’s unbelievably good for taking impressive and quality photos. I just love how small the kit lens is and also the maximum aperture of it which is f/1.9 ☺ It also has a video mode and it can record in 1080p or the “Full HD”.

I said on my blog post that I can already load my Diana F+ with a 35mm film using the installed Diana 35mm back. So I loaded the first roll of film I bought. And I had it processed and developed (and scanned). Below are the photos. I just do not like my scanner, it sucks. LOL :-)

Last Sunday (October 2), my family went to Rockwell and had a bit of ~bonding~ together. I remembered that there’s a Team Manila store in Rockwell so I immediately asked my mom if I can have a *look* at the Lomography stuff there and she said ‘yes’. I hurriedly went to the store and I was stoked cuz’ there are so many beautiful and quality things there a.k.a. Lomography cameras, accessories and films. 

I was really excited to get my hands to all of it (literally) and I might even spend the night there lol. And I was really surprised to find out there’s a stock of a….. Diana F+ 35mm back I’ve been wanting for so long. I haven’t really used a 120 film for my Diana because it was expensive not only the film but also the processing plus, there is not really a lab that is processing 120 films in this far away town here in Laguna. 

So, I had a conversation with the saleslady there about Lomography LOL. I asked my mom right away if I can buy the 35mm back for my Diana+ and she said yes (again) undoubtedly. Btw, I just love my mom when she says yes to me especially to the things that I want. ☺ 

Lets put it this way, I bought it (with my own money, of course) along with a pack of a 100ISO Color negative 35mm film (3 rolls). Hm, it actually feels good and I was satisfied and fulfilled not only because I already got the Diana F+ 35mm back but also I bought something quite expensive with my own money. The money I gained from my ‘mini business’ last summer. I don’t know I feel that way but yeah. ☺

Hi! It’s been a long while since my last post to this blog. I would like to post a new one with this. 

Oh I want to share with you guys a video that I made for my class, I really had fun making this one even though I just compiled some of our videos. I think I made them happy which is I love doing :-)

I thought that senior life would be so fun, happy and all but I was wrong.. since the start of the school year, our teachers have been giving us school works that include assignments everyday and the like. That’s what has been stopping me from blogging, I was busy all the time LOL, no seriously. I will not be expecting too much happiness from this school year since this is already our last year, I think we should just all use the remaining time useful together.

Good thing to start the month of July, mom went to Hong Kong and bought for me some things I really like. She bought a new lens for my DSLR because I said to her that the ‘nifty-fifty’ is making it hard for me to get a full view and a clear focus.

She bought me a Sigma lens 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM!! This lens is really great with its compact built. I can get an angle view of up to 102º, it is really good for landscape and more. Although, this lens has a very small zoom range, it an ultra-wide angle lens. I just love how I can get a nice and smooth bokeh with this and has a smooth focusing unlike my other lens. LOL I will still use my ‘nifty fifty because it’s good with the large aperture and it’s lightweight lol To top it all, this lens is great! :-)

Mom also bought me a new bag from Espirit which is kind of a vintage rucksack half parachute bag in the military camp. LOL But I’m loving this bag because I can put random things in there without any discomforts. This bag is very comfortable and feels so nice! It looks good too! Actually, this is my type of bag! Mom is really the best :-) 

Lastly, I want to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!! Woo. Mom even bought me some Harry Potter related things in Hong Kong lika a bookmark and pen half wand, a Harry Potter poster half plastic folder LOL and a Gryffindor notebook! :) I just love my mom <3

The Magic Will Never End. ϟ

I know this is kinda late but I just want to share this ~day~, even though it’s just the first week of school, I already have so many things need/should do. =_=

June 7, 2011. My second day. So I started the day right, I actually did not have that much fun compare to our first day in school. Not to mention, I presented something in class.. our Wheel of Wisdom, I think I did well. :-) I wore my carrot pants that day, the one that I was talking about here: /friday-is-forever

Actually, this is my first lookbook entry after 123456789 years LOL.

It was the first day of school and I am not that excited but I had fun on my first day in as a.. senior. (I really just like saying it, Senior lol)

I got up like 6am and I was in a hurry and I knew that I’m gonna be late so yeah I really got late. I already knew my section so I went there, when I’m about to enter the room, it was so awkward because all of them was staring at me like there’s no tom and I was just waiting for my teacher to let me in. It was really.. awkward.

After the class, I asked my friends to take pictures of me and this is how it went:

Ohh I should be meeting with Dianne Dequina so I can give her a paperbag of kojiesan soaps but unfortunately she’s still not available at that time and she said she’s going to school at 12:30 and me and my friends are already about to leave. I do not want them to leave me waiting in school for Diane so I decided that I’ll just leave the Kojiesan paperbag to the school guard so she’ll just pick it up :—)

Too bad I didn’t get a photo op with her haha. Btw, she tweeted about it after she got it :-)

We did not to go to our homes yet, so we walked to this place and I bought some things I really need :-) after, we decided to go to Ministop to have our ice cream, I just love their ice cream plus it’s really cheap lol. As we we’re walking, something happened bec. of my stupidity. I don’t want to blog about it, it was embarrassing! Haha. Let my friends be the only people who know about that. LOL :-)
